FDA investigates the increased risk of heart attacks and testosterone therapy! 
In January 2014 the FDA posted on its website that it is “investigating the risk of stroke, heart attack, and death in men taking FDA-approved testosterone products. We have been monitoring this risk and decided to reassess this safety issue based on the recent publication of two separate studies that each suggested an increased risk of cardiovascular events among groups of men prescribed testosterone therapy.”  In the aftermath of the findings, several testosterone litigation cases have had successful outcomes.

The study of approximately 56,000 patients found that men over the age of 65, as well as patients younger than 65 with a history of heart disease, had twice the rate of heart attacks in the three months after beginning testosterone therapy when compared to the year prior to treatment.
